    Hello everyone,
I am looking to but a small netbook (either 7 or 8") and am impressed by both the Acer and Asus models. Will probably go for an 8Gb SSD and i have a 32gb memory stick to store stuff.

The purpose for the netbook is to check e-mails and ebay on the move and to work on documents when I am out and about and away from my PC. Needs to run photoshop.

What do you think is best out of these two ?
    Pro & Cons ?

    Thanks

Acer aspire would be the best. but asus has some problem with driver compatibility & performance is not satisfactory.

I would recommend you to buy Acer Aspire, but also compare to another with a same specs..choose wisely.

I'm using Aspire one, and from my experience says that it will be comfortable compared to Acer eeePC.

I've got a 901. And will never ever buy a full size laptop again.

I'm using my little 901 more than I've ever used a laptop before - simply because I take it with me without thinking. Unlike my previous laptops (and I've had plenty)... the 901 is in my bag all the time - which means I actually get to use it for what it's intended for.

It's absolutely useless for doing 'serious' work on - the screen and keyboard are simply too small. But I use it all the time for site updates, quick Photoshop tweaks, forum posting, email, eBay, watching movies (from sd card), whatever. My 901 is running XP on the SSD, and EasyPeasy on a bootable SD card. I recently upgraded to 2GB ram which makes Photoshop editing much nicer, and also means I can run my temp directories from a ram drive instead of the SSD.

I love this little computer. Small is beautiful. :D  :p
