Ain't that the truth. That is one of the biggest difference between the two parties. The democrats bitch, but never do anything about it. The Repulicans simply move forward and tackle tough problems without the bitching.

We must also realize it wasn't as if he openly denied buying meth and such (along with the massages from the gay guy). IMO, if he was doing drugs or having gay sex, he wouldn't admit what he did - that'd middle ground unless it's the truth. If he was going to lie, he should either say he didn't do it at all or that he did - not halfway in between.

The standard of God's Law is perfection and no person meets that standard (thus the need for forgiveness, mercy, and grace).

Hypocrisy does not negate truth and hypocrisy is not an excuse for amorality and anarchy. In the end, hypocrisy is the cheap excuse of a wayward soul against the demands of a holy God.

If perfection and complete obedience were the requirements for preaching and teaching, no person would qualify.

The guy did the right thing by stepping down. It's actually a merciful act from God that he was exposed if this exposure leads to his genuine repentance.

It seems many members of closet (Republican) party like to bite the pillow, despite all their objections to homosexuality.

 

I have no idea. I do know that if the guy (what's his name, Ted?) was a terrorist just coming back from Afghanistan from training at a terrorist training camp, we probably wouldn't be seeing this post. At most, we would be seeing how we need to presume innocense until proven guilty. But, that's only reserved for terrorist suspects, so Christians are exempt.

 

I still have no idea what this guy is trying to say. I liked him better when he stuck to bashing DMOZ.

For the record (though I've said it before) I have not problem with homosexuals. To each his, or her own. Neither religion, nor politics govern my social opinions.
