Accuracy of Domain Appraisal Sites?

    How accurate do you guys think those domain appraisal sites are? I recently purchased a domain name that was appraised at 35K on Leapfish.com. Although I doubt I'll get anywhere near that, how reflective of the real value of a domain do you guys think leafish appraisals are?

    Estimates are all over the place for my domain. What I do is I watch for auction results (e.g. Dnjournal), and then try to evaluate my name based upon what sold and what didn't sell. Often it is difficult to get a list of what didn't sell, but this is also very important. If one out of ten premium domains don't sell, well then the domains are either overpriced or the market is soft.

    Thanks for all the info. How much do you all think www.kusite.com could be worth? Leapfish appraised it for 36k which I guess is meaningless.
