Oh well. I signed up telling them I'd be displaying the ads on one of my sports-related sites. But, things changed and I ended up only putting them on my arcade sites. So, not that surprised on their decision and I don't mind that much. I can focus on CJ.com and Adsense earnings more thoroughly and accurately. Think optimistically.
Yikes, I am next. I think I have made only $80 with them total over the past six months. The first three months I cracked the century mark each time. I feel your pain, but there are other choices out there for you. Best wishes.
Well, I'm sure that $700 over two months kind of waves a red flag as well And I didn't do anything special to promote or blackhat my way to more revenue... So I guess it was a legitimate call on their end.
The biggest beef I have had with YPN! is that many of their ads were irrelevant for too long. I switched some sites back to AdSense and decided to leave them alone. Not worth the hassle of switching back, IMO.
YPN is a joke....the ads are not targeted enough....What the hell is preventing Yahoo from rolling it out to the rest of us.
That's the biggest problem I have with YPN. I'm just about to convert one of my larger sites back to Adsense. XXX,XXX pageviews a day, all back to Adsense. Lovely. Yahoo, whose fault is it that your ad targeting system and ad relevancy is so far off?
This is a good point. Google has dropped a lot of smaller accounts lately for "invalid clicks". It's a good idea to have a "plan B" just in case the unthinkable happens.
While I have both YPN and Adsense accounts and would hate to loose either one of them but I do have accounts sitting unused with smaller networks as well ready to go just for backup
PoohBear88 - In looking at your arcade site, you've placed ypn ads that is in violation of their tos, which is placing ads next to images. This may have triggered their decision to terminate your account without any warning. I believe "Low Traffic Quality" is a canned response for YPN in terminating an account, just as "Fraudulant Click Activity" is Adsense response to banning their publishers. Just my .02
I'm glad I took YPN off my arcade site when the first round of "Low Traffic Quality" bans was going on.
Most of you will see ~.02 clicks on arcade sites with adsense, yahoo gives lot better on arcade sites, like 5 times.
