Hey, I read the tos carefully and my site doesnt violate the rules at all yet it was rejected any ideas as to what I should change? The url is http://gfxtuts.com Thanks, Trusttec
Did you ask google why they rejected you? It could be, from my point of view, a decided lack of real content.
I think because you didn't own your contents. you can ask them and reapply. if I were you, I will apply with blogger first
ya as tony said, make a blogger site with couple of good articles to get into google. For precaution, apply with fresh login.
sorry for ask another question.... but if google banned his sites thats means this site neither a index nor we show google ads ???
Hi Syvee, Just because a site is rejected for AdSense doesn't mean it won't be indexed in Google's search engine - they are two separate processes, with different stipulations for inclusion. Sam
I emailed them last week but still havent gotten a response, oh well maybe I will try to apply with a diffrent site!
If you do, your best bet is to create a blog on Blogger.com, and submit it with your application. Getting approved with a Blogger blog is virtually guaranteed. Sam
Kindly tell me about blogger and also write the link where i can understand blogger I want to know the difference betwean website and blogger Can we make google adsense money with a blogger???
Blogger (www.blogger.com) is a blog host, owned by Google, where you can create and host a blog. It's free to create a blog, and yes, you can add AdSense (and other advertising, as well) in order to monetize your blog. The biggest advantage is that it's a virtual lock for getting approved by AdSense. Just create a blog, enter a few posts, and then submit it as your website with your AdSense application. HTH, Sam
Blogger is just like any other site, if you can get traffic, you can make good money. It can be hosted on a .Blogspot domain or any domain you own. The only problem with getting approved for one site and then adding AdSense to a site that Google already rejected is if they discover AdSense on the rejected site, you not only lose your account but also your earnings. As previously suggested, be patient and wait for a response from Google before you put ads on the site in question.
Hi Jim, Once you're approved for AdSense with a Blogger blog, you can then serve AdSense on any of your websites - you don't need to reapply or be approved for each individual site. All sites, however, must conform to the AdSense ToS, so it's a good thing to know and understand the ToS before adding AdSense to your sites. Sam
Hi Jim, The key phrase in alfie's post is "adding AdSense to a site that Google already rejected". Google obviously rejected the site for a reason, and the reason (whatever it is) comes down to the fact that it didn't comply with the ToS. As long as the sites you serve AdSense on are in compliance, you have nothing to worry about. Hope that helps. Sam
They take about 2 days to respond. I got a rejection letter about 2 days ago saying that I might have been infringing on one of Google's trademarks. I sent a very strongly worded demand for them to explain what trademark they felt I was infringing and I got back 2 days a later an "oh, we're sorry, that was an error, you are now approved." The best I can come up with is my site gives away free blogs and it has blogger in the name of the domain and maybe they somehow thought that was infringing on their blogger service. I beg to differ with whether blogger is even enforcable as a trademark and certainly don't believe my site could be confused for theirs but they never would specify. That was the best guess I could come up with.
In my experience, Google is very good at "vague". They're obviously in a very powerful position right now, and were I in their shoes, I'd probably handle things the same way - that is, limiting the information I provide (and that my competitors could use to gain market share) to as little as possible. Once there are more viable AdSense competitors in the market, look for Google to become a bit more "forthcoming". Sam
