    Okay Guys, serious problem here.
I registered with PayPal, few days ago, probably 20 or less.
I started to take money without confirming my location.

The problem is a bit complicated, but I will do my best to explain.

I live in Pakistan, and as you may be familiar; PayPal doesn't supports Pakistan.
I negotiated with my Aunt (who lives in London), she agreed to let me use her Info, such as Resident/Debit Card etc...

My bank account confirmed after 5 days.

    Now the real problem starts...

Bank Account Confirmed, fine. Now when I went to confirm the location, they said that they would place a call to confirm. I talked to my aunt and gave her instructions that "you will receive a call, within one minute by PayPal to confirm the location." When I hit the call button, PayPal showed a 6 digit Pin Number, to confirm. Now, my Aunt was receiving the call, my Aunt had no Idea about the PIN, nor did I. The confirmation hence failed.
immediately, I received e-mail from PayPal saying that they will send a letter to address that I provided, with a security code, within 7 to 9 working days. It has been 13 working days now, yet no kind of letter arrived...

What should I do now? I am very tensed.
I have around $12000 in my PayPal and they are stuck!

    Please help me....

    Regards.

don't panic, just wait till they send the mail, if they don't in a few days, just send them an email, stating that you have not recieved the letter, and ask them to send another one with a confirmation number

i don't understand how you have trusted and left 12,000$ in PayPal, it's one of the most f'ed up companies out there, they are like scam, even as a US citizen we have a hard time working with them

the funny thing is PayPal doesn't let you retry the call thing, haha, they're like we tricked you b*tch!

ok just like i said don't panic, cause if you act all stressed out, they will probably feel more like making you angry, after all it's some cheap worker who is pissed off at life and entertains himself by pissing others off

Although Paypal can be a bitch to work with, they are not a scam. They have policies in place because alot of people run scams. They are protecting their a**. That's why they limit accounts.

Address verification and bank verification are not stupid requirements.

BTW: Are you talking about $12,000. (twelve thousand US dollars)? Why would you let it build up to that much? Or was it a lump sum? If it was a lump sum, uuummm ya they are going to make sure you are legit and verify everything...of course. That's a lot of dough to get out at one time IMO.

first off I didn't say they are scam, I said they are like scam, which is true, they close alot of accounts for no serious reason, and they collect a good amount that way, I bet PayPal even pays their sick employees commissions to close accounts

the verification process is silly, wtf, is PayPal acting cop here or something

Saying they are "like a scam" is basically saying they are one. There's almost no in-between.

The only way they have a chance on collecting any money from an account that they limit are those that can't supply necessary information therefore nothing can happen. Your "bet" sounds kind of senseless. The verification is only so they can make sure that their service isn't being used wrongly and of course, so they can keep some type of "tab" on who's doing what.

It's a pain. They did the address verification to me awhile back. They wouldn't confirm my cell phone, only a landline and I was moving around a lot. But my business address is a UPS mailbox and always the same. So they sent me the address verification letter there. I got it rather quickly, but I was in no hurry, plus I live in US.

It would suck sitting on 12 grand though!

I'm sure it will get there soon and you'll be good to go.

This happen to me once but i was not located in paskistan at the time, my funds was a little higher and took 4 weeks to get my letter, however paypal are a pain the the bum, cause once you do get this letter and pin in the confirmation give it a few days and i am 99% sure that they will limit your account again, for the pure fact that

1 I am assuming you logging into paypal from your country so they will be monitoring your IP in regards to that

    2. The amount of funds that you have got in that space off time.

So be prepared if it make take you some time to get your funds out.

Quick add on what ever you do, do not let them know your are from the country where you residing at now, cause that would just make them limited your account even quicker, im sure we all know what paypal are like, any little unusual activity that dont seem right

    BAM your shut down.

Wait for the letter. It often takes more than the prescribed time. If nothing moves in the next 7 days, call the customer center and ask for a new PIN to be sent.

Assuming you ever manage to verify the account your account will get limited eventually for IP's outside the UK accessing that account. Paypal is very cautions about fraud so outside IP's they tend to limit the account so the account owner doesn't lose all their funds.

Now in your case you're not even suppose to have a Paypal account so I imagine you will never see those funds.

Yeh i totally agree with that so if you are accessing it from outside the UK ip then more than likely they will limit your account very quick indeed
