Doubtful.. as people don't get banned for accidently clicking on your ad one time. So it would never happen. As you know when you accidently click on your own ad, Google knows it right away. That is why it doesn't show up with any money associated with it. Take it for what you will. Most of the people who complain about being banned are being less than truthful and offering less than full disclosure. Feel free to go back through all the threads here and read the different episodes of people ranting and raving about being treated wrong by google. One thing you notice in almost all instances, with a lot of prodding and poking they always ended up doing something that violated the TOS. People want to put on a good face for the public to view. So people will do what they can to paint themselves in the best light possible. If this means stretching the truth and omitting details, a lot of people will do it. The fear created by these tainted cries of unfair is just ghastly on these forums and others. They are blown way out of proportion. I can't point to one case where I know someone was kicked out of Adsense and they had a clean site. Not one. Yet I know of all kinds of examples of sites in Adsense that violate the rules. Think about that for a minute. I declare that person a flat-out liar. That is the problem... Some people stretch the truth, others just outright lie. That guy just outright lied. What he said is simply not true, didn't happen, no way no how. People need to pepper their thought process with a little logic and common sense. Just because someone types something on the internet does not make it true. People accused of comitting crimes should be viewed with a little hesitancy when they proclaim themselves innocent from the mountaintops. The reality is google has NO incentive to go around banning people for no reason. It doesn't benefit them, it doesn't benefit their bottom line and it actually costs them money. Hmm.. Well I am pretty sure I could find thousands of AdSense publishers who would disagree with this. I am sure we could find a score or more here very quickly. So we have a mass of people who have clicked on their own ads by accident once and not been banned. You have one guy who claims that he was banned for only doing it once. Why would he report it one time? Probably because he knew he was going to get busted and was hoping he could trick them into cleaning his slate.
I got a reply from Google. No further information about my case, but I did successfully get someone who was really abusing the system banned. --- Hello James, Thank you for your email regarding the action taken on your account. awesome I think you should keep reporting spammers and working hard for google. It will only help make the program better for the publishers. Keep up the good work
Hey is it just me, or is http://news.punchjump.com/article.php?id=1208 this site horribly violating the ToS? Two google ads, plus two other ads, plus an affiliate link?
I don't see anything wrong too. They have 1 ads unit, one adlinks, on google search and few ads from other affiliate program.
