Account disabled for DMCA complaint ?

    One of my pages it seems infringes copyright for another site...
    Google sent me a warning, stopped servers ads to the domain. It was
    an old crappy site anyway so I didn't bother.
    Today they suspended my account.

    So I will go ahead and fax them the counter claim and I completely
    shutdown the site in question

    The question is :

    - Did it happen to you ?
    - How soon do they re-activate your account ?

    You cant do anything. You are banned for life now.
    Had the same problem. Google takes extremely serious DMCA.

    You can fax all the documents in the world. They just wont respond to them.

    No..I think its suspended. I had a letter once that I had to remove ads from Teen Sexuality section from my site. They said that if you do not remove the ads in 2-3 days, they will disable my account untill I remove the ads from that page and after disable it will take little time to get back to normal...

    If this isnt BANNED..if its banned, you can still get your account back by contacting them...its not like banned for life or something unless you are able to not provide a proof enough to make them reverse their action...

    Their email does say "Google can keep you as an AdSense publisher if you send a proper counter notification pursuant to sections 512(g)(2) and 3) of the DMCA."

    so - this is not a permanent ban

    what if we don't response to google, what will happen? will they just disable my google adsense accont? what else?
