Internally, the forum shows regular AdSense ads still (or as of late last night anyway).

Its high time that Google Adsense needs a change. I have heard YPN straight away does not pay you for invalid clicks which is sweet. They dont ban you straight away. On the other hand Google straight away bans ppl and does not tell them why did they ban. This is unfair as its easy for ppl to ban someone by clicking their ads, posting enemy's adsense code on a porn page etc. Guess YPN ads would be seen alot more than Google once YPN is open for everyone. Google needs to get this fixed as they are banning 100s of publishers almost on daily basis.

Personally; I have yet to see a banned adsense account that didn't deserve it. I'm sure there is one, but I haven't seen it.

I agree with lorien1973. I accept the possibility that Google may make an error from time to time but if "they are banning 100s of publishers almost on daily basis" my guess would be that 99.99999999999999999999999999% of those are well-deserved bans.

IMO this would have been true 6 months ago. Almost all webmasters nowadays are aware of how dangerous it can be by clicking your own ads. Secondly, people with first post as adsense account banned might be someone who has been here since long time, unregistered, going thru posts. Google do not send you a link to DP forum in their email saying 'You are banned' do they?

I don't know. My guess is that you would probably be more familiar with Google "you are banned" emails than I am.

LOL!!! I wasnt reffering to you for that. Someone above said something bad to the person banned which is bad. All I wanted to say is that a person banned from Google posts here to get some help. So we should try an help the person rather than saying stuff like 'You deserve it' 'Go Away you are Banned' etc. If you cant help, just move on dont say such things. This I think does spoil DP's reputaion. The person banned trusts DP members and comes here for a hope. I aint pointing to anyone here but its bad to see ppl discourage someone :)

There are cases where someone is banned by mistake or for no clear reason. This does happen and yes the people at Google are human and make mistakes. There have been people here on the forums that are well respected that have gone through this. YSF1 is one of them and he had his account reinstated because he handled it professionally.

Yes we should give the benefit of the doubt, however, when the first post a person ever makes to the forums is how they were banned then it becomes suspect to many. Not saying that they were not trying to follow the rules and got banned by mistake and then decided to find help at a well respected forums, but it does raise question marks for many people. The problem is that how does anyone really know. I do agree that maybe we should all take a closer look at the facts instead of just telling them to go away because they are some loser, because in fact they may actually be someone in need of our help. It is when we step beyond our feelings on something like this that we truely become a great group of people or individuals.

Maybe if i was banned i would also register to get some help...
Ok, most of them are guilty... but before pointing the finger we should see if he is guilty or not.
    Good luck.
