Account change of expiring domain name.

    Hi All,

    I have purchased one domain name and account change to my Godaddy Panel occurred just 15 days ago for this domain name.

    This domain name is about to expire in 35 days.

    I do not want to renew this domain name.

    CAN I SELL THIS DOMAIN NAME BEFORE IT EXPIRES AND SEND IT TO SOMEONE ELSE'S GODADDY PANEL?

    OR

    Do I need to complete 60 days from when the domain came to my account?

    Please explain possibilities,

    you can push domain to other godaddy users without any limit, no need to wait for anything (but you won't be able to transfer out of godaddy)

    You have plenty of time to sell the domain. Even after it expires you're allowed a short grace period to renew the domain at the normal renewal rate, but once it goes into it's redemption period, you'll have to pay a fee of around $80 to get it back.

    As the posts above say, you can sell and push the domain into any other Godaddy account...just not other registrars.
    However, you should push the name by the date the domain expires so that the renewal is the responsibility of the new registrant.
    Starting from the day after, you would not be able to push the domain name to another account unless you first renew it.

    Even if you don't renew it in time, the domain renewal process gives you 45 days grace to transfer it or renew. You have plenty of time.
