I submitted an article the other day, problem is I can't remember which site it was to, I was certain it was goarticles however it wasn't. I've also search G for the title and can't find it. If I submit it again and it ends up being published on two sites what will happen? Thanks Dee
the duplicate content penalty is hugely overrated. personally i think you'd have to do an enormous amount of content mirroring across multiple servers and domains to get any bad attention from google. don't worry about it.
if you are that worried, then you can tweak your title and change few words and sentance structure in your article and then submit. but if you submit the same article to another article directory, worse thing can happen is that it migh not get indexed or get indexed and later deinxed by google. there will be no penalty on your site for this. by the way, if you are not sure where you submitted your article to, you can search google with your article title in this format: "your article title" with quotes. if your title is unique and your article is indexed, you will find it
I've heard that duplicated contents within your site (onpage) is a penalty. However, duplicated contents outside of your site (offsite) is NOT an issue. Can i also verify this with anyone? How true is this? thanks
