Accidently Dissing Eric Meyer to his face

So I just went to the Microsoft Expression Session 07 and found out Eric Meyer was one of the speakers to dish the CSS-Ability for the new MS tool. Well, my buddy and I were just teasing in the back of the row when they viewed-source that it displayed all InLine Code. Then we were just laughing, just joking about how Eric Meyer could possibly support that? Then we were really laughing how terrible it was as it kept going on.

Well - to my surprise, i looked over 2 Seats and there was Eric Meyer... I think we offended him because he instantly left. Friggin Hillarious!

Just had to share my story with you CSS peeps :)

What is Eric thinking supporting something that is all inline code?? Hmm, strange.

    Good story though, lol.

An old colleague of mine speaks his mind a lot and when he met Eric for the first time he goes "Holy sh*t, your taller than I thought you would be!"

LOL, good stories -- any more good CSS Famous People stories out there?

Hmm, not really...speakers get pretty mean when they 'critic' audience web sites, haha.

Nice! At work one of our 10 Design Commandments is “Thou shall not be tempted by inline style.”.

When you are a celebrity like Eric Meyer you probably are used to getting dissed.

Some CMS's use inline code to easily change the backgrounds and other styling, because it's much easier than editing a CSS file.

    Sounded like a laugh though.
