I was recently cleaning out my godaddy account and accidentally deleted the database for my main site!
I contacted GoDaddy emmidiatley and they informed me it would cost me $150.00 to get it back up and running.

Me being as smart as I am didn't have a backup saved to DB_BACKUP so now im pretty much screwed.
Guess I will be paying godaddy, They called it disaster support or something, lol.

Anyone else ever done something like this?
And if so, How long did it take the host to resolve the issue?

There's not much you can do, unless Godaddy stored it for you.

Even though if your provider have backup system, its always better to keep a backup of your web pages, databases, emails etc. on your local machine which you can restore easily at any time if needed. Godaddy is charging for restore as its their policy. Some providers charge for restore where as some providers do it for free.
Emails can be backed up by downloading them in Outlook, web pages can be backed up by FTPing it, MySQL database can be backed up in .sql and MSSQL database can be backed up in .bak format

Which control panel is offered to you ?
Your hosting control panel should also contain facility to backup whole account including web page, databases, emails etc.

Delete something I actually needed? I think the first time I ever did that was around 1973. And I've probably done it over 100 times since then.

Which is why I always have at least 2 totally different backups of anything I actually need. (An old IT axiom - if it's not backed up to at least 2 different destinations, you don't really need it.) Even an old WP site I sometimes play with emails me a database backup every day. (I have a program automatically running on the backups to delete yesterday's if today's is no different.)

    Only 100 times.

It happens to the best of us. Always keep a backup of your site, then be sure to backup your backup!!!
