Hi, If we accidentally click once on adsense in our own website, is there any penalty?Or is there any way that we can notiy google about this accidental click?
Well, hopefully Google will think of it as a mistake. But if you have started with AdSense recently, they will most likely get you for it. But if youve begun recently, then hopefully you will be able to get a new account with them.
You won't face any problem for this from google. Google ban those who click their own ads every hour from same IP or same IP range and don't have sufficient traffic.
There is no need to worry if you have clicked your ads accidentally only once. Google will most probably ignore it and it will be treated as invalid click but desist from clicking too often and in that case, you are likely to be banned.
There should not be a problem with an accidental click. Google bans only if they see a lot of such clicks.
No need to worry about this, If it is first click from your own ip address means no problems. But dont make same mistakes again and again. All the best..........
I believe there is a set amount of "accidental" clicks that Google permits from you - meaning Google will just assume an invalid click or something of that nature . Also, they will see your address and that it correlates to to your account, so they know that accidents can occur, but just don't let this continue or create a pattern because you will be banned. Habitual clicks is what I think Google is really looking for/at.
There's no problem at all. One of my friends says, he often clicks accidentally ! Still he's alive. I think it's better let Google know about such clicks so they can return that amount to the advertisers.
