Oh boy... Best would be to quickly sell your site and pretend nothing is the matter. The new owner will be banned tomorrow.

Half serious. Depends on your situation. Have you been faithful to Google all your Google life? How many clicks do you normally get? Etc. There are many factors like that which would determine the severity and depth of the shit you are currently in.

    hahahhaa

I don't get it, there are so many adsense abusers, and the honest ones are paranoid as hell. Seriously, dudes ... mistakes happen.

Seriously, don't sweat the small stuff. Google will check the ip and disallow it automatically. Unless you're clicking several hundred times a day I doubt they even noticed.

The same thing happened to me shortly after I joined AdSense. I sent them an email immediately after it happened and they basically just said "Thanks for your honesty. Don't let it happen again."

You won't get banned. I did it once by accident. I panicked but I didn't send them an email. And I did not get banned. I am still kicking with adsense.

The first thing to do when you have a question that is very likely to be very common is to search the forum. This question has been asked a billion times, I was the one millionth to ask it two years ago. :)

You could try contacting them through email to see if they will let you continue your service, but they will most likely suspend you. Good luck.

Dont worry, nothing will happen just for one click.

Everyone here is saying that, If anyone login to google adsense from one ip, and if any click goes from that ip, it will be easy for google to find click fraud.

But what if its any netcafe ? U go check ur account, then u logout. After u another person comes, and wht if he opens ur site and gives one click ??
Its not u who is clicking on ur ads. Do google ban even such accounts ?? It never happens.

Dont worry just for one click.

Googles rules and most of other programs rules for click fraud are something like this.

1: All ads in any particular ad unit should not be clicked. Becoz there is very less probability that any user who comes to ur site, clicks on all ads in any unit. If it happens, a fraud activity is suspected. If it happns many times, they will ban.

    2. All users who comes to ur site, should not click on ads. There is very less probability for this also, even in the case of mfa sites it donot happen. So if 100 % of the users who comes to ur site clicks on one or more ads continuously they will ban.

and there are few more cases with google adsense. If u give any link from ur site to an already banned google adsense account, then also they will ban.

So no need to worry just for one click.

inform them by email. tell them it was an accident and, do what I did, offer to pay for the click...they won't make you pay but that will show google that you are sincere, not out to defraud them and it truly was an accident...

offer to pay everytime you accidentally click as this might figure well if they ever contemplate banning you...

But try not to click ever again...

I would like to add to this - hide on Cuba for next 2 years, do a plastic sugery and change hair style.

Then you can TRY to do some online business again.

I click an ad accidentally from time to time, it's not a huge deal.
