Hey. I have a site that never ranked on Google for my main keyword even though it is ranked #2 on Yahoo/Bing. However, it has all of a sudden showed up on page 2 of google. I have done no SEO. I have no Backlinks. I have done nothing. I am really surprised at how high of a ranking it has received and for a relatively competitive keyword. The first page doesn't have any power house sites on it so I think there is opportunity to get on page 1. Unfortunately the reason I have done no SEO is because I don't really know anything about it. I was just wondering if you had a site on page 2, what would your strategy be to get to page 1? I appreciate any insight.
Start with some bookmarks and submitting to high quality article directories. Then graduate to posting blogs won web 2.0 platforms and guest blogging.
