Hi I would like to know if it's okay to access multiple paypal accounts from the same computer. Actually, i'm required to access 4 paypal accounts from my home computer.... 1 - my Personal account. I use this for our website hosting payments and other small job order payments. 2 - my friends premier account ( i'm in charge of managing his website....i accept orders and process payments) 3 - my spouse access her personal account from home. mainly for ebay purchases. 4 - my brother's account. He runs an outsourcing business and again i'm responsible for maintaining his website and accept payments. All these accounts have been verified individually with our own names, valid credit cards and valid address. I have been hearing all horror stories about paypal freezing certain accounts in case they access multiple accounts from the same computer .........Now, my question is ....will i be affected for this reason? And one more important issue is that, my friend's account was not opened from my country. He opened and verified it from his country. but, i'm able to access his account from my country and take care of his business. Is this okay to do or will this be a problem in future? please post me your thoughts and precautions i need to take.....basically, i don't want to screw up their business by doing something stupid. My friend and my brother trusts me a lot and they have no idea how paypal works - kay
I have a few paypal accounts under different names etc I even access it with different IP's and I have had no problem for 3 years now.
Thanks Shazz and James but, is it okay to access it in different country??? ofcourse right now the transactions $$$ are very minimal....My concern is, will this be a problem in future when i start transfering more money.
As long as all the accounts are legitimate, it should be fine to access them all from the same computer. I've never had any problems for the past several years, accessing 5 or 6 business accounts (Only 1 was my own). As Shazz stated, you can only have 2 accounts yourself, but it's not against any TOS to access another account or even manage it.
