I dont appear to have a command prompt on my computer. If there is one it's well hidden.

If running Windows, try, start, run, command, tracert digitalpoint.com.

After you are through with tracedrt, type exit to close the command prompt.

    Thanks, I tried that.
It starts bringing up lines with what looks like IP addresses. Then the window closes by itself after a few seconds so I dont have time to see what's there.

Same problem. I did a quick search and UK people are having this problem. It keeps timing out and not loading. I'm having to use a VPN from France to access DP. Really pointless :(

Have you tried to talking to your ISP and asking them about the problem?

Open a command prompt window first - enter 'cmd' in the run prompt - and try using tracert.

If you type tracert in the run prompt itself... then the dos windows opens and closes as soon as the command is completed!
