I heard that if we access our paypal account from another country. Our paypal account will be limited.

Next month I want to travel to another country. What should I do now to prevent my paypal account from being limited if I access my paypal account while i am abroad?

    Any preventive measure there?

I also have the same problem since I am going to work in another country . I have heard too that account might get limited if you tried accessing it in other country . By the way have you tried to talk paypal about this issue? I am planning to asked them about this question too.. My aunt has tried doing this before like accessing her paypal in other countries for some goods payment but I have read that she experienced trouble in doing so . I guess preventive measure which we can do is to asked paypal about it or to let them know about our problem I do hope they will inform us of some solutions

Just give them a phone call and let them know of this before you go abroad.

yes, like DON said, just pre notify them that you will be travelling to such a such country and how long you will be staying.
If you dont, then their pp system might put your account on limitation thinking of suspicious logins.

if the comp you use is at home and there is some on back home / office to switch on and connect to internet, in that case i suggest you use teamviewer, this is what i use when i m on a trip abroad or even a trip within india,

Just give them a call or all the transactions from the foreign IP will be placed on hold.

Last time i used Windows built-in remote desktop, and also tightvnc. My house pc is using dynamic IP, I also use no-ip.com hostname to point to my dynamic ip, but i have trouble very frequently.

I never used teamviewer b4, dunno it is stable or not.

Yes it's true if you access your PayPal from different country your account will be limited by PayPal to avoid that write to PayPal customer care where you are going means which country and keep safe their reply in future if any case happen you can produce them that you ware inform them and if you inform them and use your PayPal form different country then it’s risk free then when you again came back in Indian you need to again inform them

Do not agree with you on this.
until recently I and my business partner lived in two different countries and we both accessed our business paypal account from our own countries with no problem at all.

Thanks everyone for your advice. I decided to setup my windows Remote Desktop Connection before I go for one month trip. So that I can still remote my hometown PC (with hometown IP address) to access paypal while I am abroad.
