Try this.. You must reassign ownership of the folder to your new security ID. First, you will need to turn off Simple File Sharing. Click Start, My Computer, Tools, select Folder Options, and click the View tab. Under the Advanced Settings tab, deselect the Use Simple File Sharing (Recommended) box and then click OK. Next, right-click the folder to which you want to gain access and select Properties. Select the Security tab. If a message appears, click OK. Click the Advanced button, and under the Owner tab select your username from the list. Click the Replace Owner On Subcontainers And Objects checkbox to take ownership of the folder and then click OK. You may then see a message asking you if you want to replace the current directory permissions, giving you full control of the folder. If you see this message, click Yes. Verify permissions and security settings for the folder and click OK.
