I recently added all my sites to the "Access and Authorisation" list to prevent any possibility of anyone stealing my Adsense code and placing it on sites that are against Adsense terms. Today I had a couple of sites added in the unauthorised list, 3 of them, 2 were googles cache and google translate, but the third was a Russian IP address! (194.11.16.141). I opened the IP in my browser and it shows a blank page. Does anyone have any idea what this IP address is used for and why it would be added to my unauthorised site list? I can only think of 2 things... 1, It is a Russian translation server 2, A Russian server If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. I just want to know if this is anything malicious. I have caught it in time but I would like to trace this further and hopefully, if it is malicious, help others who may run into future problems. Thank you.
Whenever you get a suspicious IP you should use "ipchecking.com" to look it up. I looked up the one you mentioned and it hasn't been reported or blocked for malicious activity. The website that pulled up for that IP is "internet-spb.ru" which seems to be some kind of Russian IT solutions site. Not sure why you're getting it, but I wouldn't worry.
Thank you for the help, appreciated. I will keep it on the block list though for safety. Really, thank you for the advice and the research.
