For those of you that allow shops into your directory what are you views on shops that also run adsense aswell as selling items?

I see it as walking into mc donalds and seeing an advert on the wall advertising KFC.

First off, your avatar cracks me up, that's really funny lol :D

The shops must NOT in any way provide more than 2 adsense on their site, period. I don't mind approving shops at all, but some do not understand the limit of advertising adsense and the quality of their site.

I also don't mind to approve shops at all. Concerning the adsense I think it is more a problem for the shop owner. If he wants to earn enough money with it he needs to put the advertisement as visible as possible. That's where his products should be. Second if the visitor clicks on the advert he is gone from the shop. Bye Bye client...
If the shop has adsense adverts it is his problem.

At this moment our website has between 8000 and 15000 hits daily and we have tested adsense for the last 4 months. And we have decided it's not worth the space. Selling advertisement space straight to companies is more work but brings much more money and you can let let open the links in a blank window. Your website is still visible.

To keep it short... Adsense... it is their problem...

I don't mind shops but also running adsense... then I do not accept them.
It clearly shows that the online shop is not making enough sales. So probably people don't visit it often. So usually I reject them.
