Accepting paypal payments for unique items

I wish to be able to accept paypal payments on my website. This is simple enough (I have done it before for ebooks and stuff), but the items I will be selling off this website are one-offs, so once the item is sold once I want paypal to refuse to accept payment for it again.

Is there any way to integrate this without having to use shopping cart software?

Thanks in advance for your advice :)

I would advice you to keep conditions in your shop script that if that item is sold , it wont display paypal button there and I am sure you can do it easily with conditional statements in your programming language.

    Thank you.

    Thanks for the advice.

I was hoping to avoid using a shop script, and just use the paypal 'buy now' buttons. Do you know if this is possible?

    Hi Chance

Thanks for the PM- I have sent a reply. Not quite sure that my product is suited to your system as it does not require digital delivery.

    Anyone else have any ideas?
