i got an email that they have accepted me. i am from india. and the form that came after i clicked on the link, was having only US states and no other option.
i asked them to explain the thing, but they haven't yet answered.
Infact, i wasn't expecting them to approve my website. i was just into their beta program.

Has anyone else from other countries got the approval into YPN ?

    thanks

When you apply to be considered for beta, it says on the page (in bold print, even) "Participants of the program must have a valid U.S. Social Security or Tax ID number, and web site content that is predominantly in English and targeted at a U.S. user base." So I believe the YPN team is working on the assumption that those who apply meet those guidelines.

So if you apply to be considered for beta when you are outside the US, it is not really YPN's fault for accepting you ;)

Here is the page where you apply for beta, where you can see the bolded US only part at the top :)

Yea, of course, I got into paypal a year or so before they allowed people from Poland :p

You couldn't register at paypal.com, but you could register at ebay and enable the paypal account using ebay.
