Do agree with you here but the directory owner does not hide that fact and it is in plain view when you are submitting. Also you will get a notification of it's expiration and you can add again. \you will obviously be down the list but not a bad marketing ploy. Can't knock the owner here.

 

I agree with you. My intentions were not to knock off the owner. But just to make others aware that it is not FREE as other directories are. Here it is with a limitation of 6 months. That's all.

I know the 6 month thing really bothers some people ...

We are looking for a way to reward recips and re-dating the free listings seemed to be the easiest. Besides, nobody complains when paid/feature listing expire yearly ... ??

Of course you could BID the minimum $1 for a permanent listing too.

Notifications will go out at least one week before expiring, giving folks a chance to upgrade, recip, or verify and re-date.

The concept is new for directories ... the value of featured listings change constantly depending on PR, back links, and traffic ... so the value of links should change accordingly.

You may even WANT to check in every few months just to see how we are doing.

Received a really good suggestion ...

All bids are now displayed with listings (apparently the tool tips don't work for everyone) ... now you can see all the bids for each directory position.

I submited a website in my signature...tried to bid but it didn't work

 

Was anyone else turned down? I got a email saying I was submitted and was given a password then I got another email that says I was declined and can not submit again for 6 months. I thought the listing was free but maybe if you don't bid you don't get added.

allout You are not alone ... 699 sites rejected so far ... 1359 accepted at no charge. If it is the site I think ... 9 pages is just not enough content. You can contact us anytime for reasons why sites were rejected ...

We are promoting this site and getting all the pages indexed. Today 1740 indexed pages ...

We do impose a wait limit for re-reviews, spammers keep submitting same sites over and over clogging the queues. You can contact us anytime the site is corrected.
