    Hello Guys,

All my previous sites have only accepted paypal,
but i'm looking to accept credit card payments
now i'm not expecting to turn over enough revenue for the first few months so i dont want to use someone like worldpay who charge £20/mo

is there any sites i can use that dont have a monthly fee maybe just a fee on each transaction?

    Thanks for advice

You can do this with paypal. Just upgrade to a business account. No fees unless you get a payment

No, my dad paid me $1,000 via PayPal from his Visa card and was not required to register a PayPal account. :)

I know when I send an invoice, it says something like 'click here if you don't have a paypal account' or 'click here to pay by credit card'...something like that....

My daughter, who has a shopping cart site, has the paypal logo on her site which also shows credit cards

if you want to pm me with an email address, I'll send a $.01 invoice for you to see what it looks like

Best thing to do is to get a merchant account through your bank. Another option would be to try google checkout.

I've recently signed up to google checkout, but again doesn't the customer require an account to purchase something? or is it only to receive money?

i know you need an account to receive an invoice

If google checkout is integrated on a website then the customer does NOT have to have a GC account. As you've said if you want to send a invoice then yes the customer does need a GC account.
