Well I'm currently making some project for a client and I need Google or any other search engine to index one or a couple more of pages to test some features (like keyword highlighting). One link to one of the pages that I need to test is http://hipromx-dev.com/malaysia/index3.php?id=1 I've added a sitemap and also a robots.txt file to the root folder (and subfolder), as well as the proper metatgs to each page. What else do I need to do? Thank you.
Well I'm not sure if I can reveal those details, but basically he wants to automatically highlight the term received from the search engine. So for example is the user searches "test" + "highlight" and (obviously) the indexed page contains that keywords, all the exact words over the page must be highlighted. But this project needs to be done fast, before this week ends.
Actually it appears that it is working. The url of this thread ends like this "t=2040091", and according to the script that takes those values from the referrer, if you click the link that I gave you in the OP, it is highlighting it. So I just need to wait for those pages to be indexed to be completely sure.
