Absolute path question

Guys how can i determine the absolute path of my website?

Please advice..

 

You can ask your hosting provider.

If you have Cpanel, it should be listed in the stats column under : Home Directory

Hi Camay i have cpanel.. but i cant see it inside..

 

Create a php file with the following code:

<?php 
phpinfo();
?>

Code (markup):

Then upload the file and access it in your web browser. You'll see the absolute path in the running configuration.

It is in the left side column. Or maybe your cpanel skin doesnt have it ?

Etherfast suggested a good idea.

 

If you're running cPanel more than likely your path is /home/username/ . From there add www to be in the web directory and so on.

But that's not a guarantee so like others have said check cPanel, ask your host or try the phpinfo way.
