Absolute BEST Link Directory Script

Hi,

Could you all please give some recommendations for what you think is the best script to run a links directory?

I've seen:http://www.phplinkdirectory.net/, but are there others that are in this price range or free?

As I mentioned just earlier in another post, PHP Link Directory is the best in my opinion.

 

PHP link directory is the best and widely used. You can also try some on hotscripts.com

...because anyone who does submissions for more than one site regularly much prefers submitting to those sites than any other script. It is much faster and easier because of how the submit page auto-reloads after submission with the previous category pre-selected.

BTW, is phpLD free or is it $25?

I notice there is a link on the site to download to download phpLD2, and then elsewhere on the site there is a link for payment.

PHPLD3x costs $25 with linkback and $75 without.

but you can always try PHPLD2 free.

but $25 is a small amount when compared to the features V3.x offers

Note : $25 is per license per site.
so if you have 2 sites you need to buy 2 licenses

For PHPLD there are many free templates available.

just check the templates section in the marketplace here.

also you can get someone to design a template for you.

I would recommend aspidov (Dp Member)

or it is like designing your layout.

just design a layout using your fav tools and adjust 3 files, you are done.

no need to worry abt messy coding stuff.

I like the phpLD for some of the functionality, but for a "fresher" look and still powerful directory that's in that price range (free) one of our own from here at DP has Site Sift which is very sharp and popular; worth a look.
