Abrahamic religions all seem pretty much the same thing.

Was there supposed to be a reply?

KalvinB has every right to his belief. Just as I have every right to question its authenticity when he judges every other belief system besides his narrowly proscribed version (in contradiction of his own holy text), insulting other members, making personal threats, name calling, etc., all while he apparently aids others in how to set up porn sites.

You, of course, are also free to support such a thing, and disagree with me.

One of these days Northpointaiki is going to stop stalking me and end his campaign of silliness. I look forward to that day. There's a rediculous amount of irony is someone turning otherwise general topics into personal vendettas. Especially when that person complains about what someone alledgedly said about someone else.

Unbeknownst to NP, if that person I was "helping" was smart he wouldn't go ahead with his plans because those laws I was helpfully providing show how easy it is to end up in prison or fined into bankruptsy.

But of course, NP doesn't think that way. That's what happens when you're blinded by silliness. If I actually wanted to help him out don't you think I'd tell him how to get around those laws rather than put the fear of the US government into him?

Seems to me a future porn site owner wouldn't care much about what Jesus thinks of his idea. And since Jesus didn't seem to have a problem with his number one fan having been a prostitute, having stepped in to defend adulterers, I don't think Jesus would really care about me pointing out the law to someone. Heck, he didn't even tell a woman to stop living with her boyfriend.

If someone really wants to set up a porn site, that's their business. I may not agree with it but I'm not going to judge them for it. And I think they'd appreciate being warned before ending up with huge fines and imprisonment for doing something they thought was no big deal.

    Seriously NP, get a life.

Hmm...I guess I'm just thick...I read the above paragraph as a fairly straightforward advisory on how to avoid getting into trouble, nothing else.

Kalvin is correct about one thing. While I have no opinion on him personally, I do loathe hypocrisy.

I see. So this personal campaign against me that insists on hijacking otherwise benign threads that have nothing to do with me is just a projection of your own self loathing. You whine about me calling you judgemental while trying to call me a hypocrite. Seriously, get a life. Unless you fell in love with every girl you ever met no matter what her personality you are judgemental. Maybe in some ways I am a hyprocite. So are you. Get over it.

Isn't that what I said? If he really wants to set up a porn site then the best I can do is warn him about the laws which may apply. I suppose I could be like you and hijack a thread and go on and on about what a horrible person he is for even thinking about putting up nudie pics. But, I'm not you. Maybe, like you, I'll stalk him and any time he tries to do something good I'll hijack the thread and go on and on about that one time he wanted to set up a porn site. But then again, I'm not you and that's not how I do things.

Christianity is different from every religion out there. The major difference is that in Christianity a person is saved by faith and not by works.

There are many, many other differences as well.

Oh sorry for the late reply, i didn't check the thread:)

Well that diagram really doesn't answer my question,
Just a reminder my question was that if Christians Believe in Jesus, they believe that Jesus is the son of God, What I can't understand is that how can you then refer to Jesus as God if you also believe that Jesus is Gods son
How can you refer to Jesus as God?, yet wasn't God the one who created Jesus? so effectively god created himself again, right?
Showing me a diagram-Anybody with half a brain can see that is not right and that one thing just contradicts another, yet you still continue to belive it!

It's not contradictory if you open your mind to the crazy stuff God can do. If you don't believe in miracles then Christianity isn't for you. You're going to have to open your mind to miracles first.

Whether you agree with it or not, just accept that it is what we believe so stop bugging us about how it's possible. People who accept that, don't care if it makes sense. It's God. We can't expect God to make sense to us. If you want God to make sense to you then go ahead inventing your own version of who God is.

God does not do crazy stuff! You believe it but why? is it because you have bothered to read around the subject and look at the facts or just listened to someone going on about how wonderful Jesus is so he must be God?
People accept things for a reason not just because others believe it.
Judging by the fact that you can not explain your beliefs just goes to show how much you really know about your so called belief and that it doesn't hold water!
I don't need God to make sense to me, i just want to know why you refer to Jesus as God and God as Jesus' father, what is the logic behind that reasoning?
