About video rights

I'm just a bit confused about video rights, If I make a video about teaching someone in using a new digital product, do I have the rights to talk about it in any way?
As I know that some sites even restrict people in placing background music in videos(said users do not have the right to use it in the videos if not allowed by the maker, according to their user agreement page), so I am just wondering if showing products in video would need certain rights as well.

Showing products is fine and you should have no issues with that. The issue with showing music in the background is that the music is copyrighted, and the copyright owners have exclusive rights to how it is distributed.

Certainly you should check the manufacturer's agreement to make sure that they don't restrict the use of their product, but under fair use standards, you should be able to use the program to show how it works.
