suppose you write an article and submit it to, say, 10 article repositories (and they publish it all). Would it be recommendable to include them in your own website also? The articles are yours, but I wonder if this could have negative effects on your PR (due to apparent duplicate content)
I do not recommend that people put submitted articles on their site, because of dup content. Here is what I suggest: Write two articles on the same subject. Put one on your site, and submit one. The submited one should link to your homepage, as well as the article on your site.
That sounds terrific. Thanks. BTW, do article sites concern about you sumbitting the same article to many of them?
My reccomendation is to place the article on your site first, wait until the page that the article is on gets indexed, then submit it to article repositories. By doing this, your site will be listed as the authority site on that article (the first to publish it). Doing it this way should prevent duplication penalties to your site.
Yes exactly. You need to put your article on your site then wait until google index your page. After that you can submit that article anywhere you want because google knows that the original content came from your domain, so you are safe.
great advise guys, thanks. so you should check up google from time to time until you article shows up?
