So it's something like sitepoint uses, charging people to make a topic with their service or needs?

charging people to join your forum will be a tough job to do, if you are keeping your forum free to join and asking money for other services then its quite ok, so what your forum will be about?

    Definitely not.

You need to open up the site for free. Anyone can get the content you would offer for free elsewhere, so why should the go to you? Earn money through ads etc, or newsletter sponsorship usw (there you go....a bit of german for german_dude)....means etc (und so weiter!)

You must kidding. Unless your forum is offering some unique contents, pictures, videos, etc..., no one would join it if they have to pay.
There are literally millions of forums on the internet for about every topic that you can think of and they are FREE!

I won't even join a forum that just requires registration...not when there are free forums offering the ability to lurk. So there is no way I'd give money.

However, I've joined forums, then have given money for added privileges. (bonus forums, extra downloads, bigger avatar, inbox, and other perks)...but never just to join.

I think nobody knows what the forum will have.It will have almost everything thats sold on the buy sell trade section plus many more things that u have never seen here for $30, instead of spending on everything 1 time investment.

What I would suggest is to make if free first. Once you have lots of daily visitors, that's when you can start charging for them to post. That's why sitepoint makes good money. They have lots of visitors daily, people know that if they post there that they have a bigger chance of getting a higher offer on their products or services, you first have to make sure this forum has the visitors to back it up.

I might... I dont have $30 to spend right now but I get your idea lol... unlike some people. Its a pretty good idea because then people can just go and make themoney back here on DP. Pretty smart!
    Thanks

wel no one will join a new forum tht requires you to pay most will think it as scam or useless
so i would suggest you to bring some repute to your forum and then start making holes in customers pocket
