Hi, I'm about to redesign my main site: http://www.traderslog.com/ any suggested improvements will be gratefully taken into account.
format your links a bout. e.g. side links are red, content links are black etc etc. also whats up with the massive white space down the bottom of the page?
I would add more graphics into your site.. and perhaps change the blue link color to some other color.. red? I'm really liking the right navigation, maybe the left navigation could be worked on. Changing the blue links to black? Like suggested above.
awesome guys that helps alot! this is something I will definately address in the redesign - I'm now thinking it's a waste not to have some links in the footer
also you should put a copyright footer, copyright 2007 this site blah blah blah then under that put links to your main pages (about, faq, site-map, contact etc)
it looks too much white space on bottom of page. logo is fine.i like it. you can do work with some more colors.
a html type declaration right at the top of your source code, removing all style declarations from the source code and calling them from an external stylesheet instead so that the googlebot has less code to index or so thats it mainly text you want indexed and loaded fast as well a little bit more of the meta tags, like the robots meta tag the <h1> tag and <h2>,<h3> etc if required, but at least the <h1> tag and once the design and coding is complete, validating it for an error free html code.
