So I decided I want to blog. I have a niche on wilderness that I would have plenty to write about so my questions are: 1. Does the main source of traffic usually come from search engines over time? 2. Should i use blogger.com since its my first time or go straight into it with wordpress 3. If I started with wordpress and used a free template could I later change my template and export/import my past posts? if so, would it hurt my current state of SEO? 4. Staying with a certain niche is the best for subscribers, yea? branching out to far to other stuff is bad? That's it for now, haha. A little much but I like to be ready before starting a project. Any other tips would be awesome. Thanks in advance!

1. The main source of traffic comes from search Engines but you can also try other ways to backlinks to your site in order to see your site results in search engines. You can try social media sites like Twitter, Facebook, digg and stumbleupon etc to get traffic to your website. 2. You can use blogger.com if you are genius in making blogs in great niche. Make a useful blog which must be liked by others and add a lot of quality content to your blog. (Your own domain name would be great.) 3. Blogger would be great for free blogs. 4. Yes of course, Always sty with one niche in one blog and try to make a blog which is popular. Hope it helped you.

I think it's important to do it for the love of writing and getting your thoughts out. If you do it for the money it's going to be a long journey. So write, write, write first.

I would start out with blogger to learn the ins and outs first, then move to wordpress after a while, unless you're ready to spend money now. 3. 1. yes 2. no i don't believe so 4. yes a more narrow niche is better for subscribers GENERALLY, but if you do it right (build yourself up as a celebrity) you can blog about whatever the heck you want. I hope that helps! good luck!
