    I've cleared about $300 in BlogAds in two months. Not a titanic amount yet, but I expect to be able to pump it up in the next month or so if my page impressions keep increasing.

    Tip: Don't use blockquotes. When I worked for Weblogs, Inc., I learned that Google dinged sites that used blockquoting too extensively.

    I suggest using quotes or italics instead. That's what I do on Zero Boss.

    I like the way you can have the 300x250 ad above the two sidebars.

    Did you customize an existing theme or did you writ it yourself ?

    I suppose if I was better at CSS it would be easy to do with floats. I automatically think tables.

    Making a page like CalGuy has is not so easy at all. I think you must reserved much free time for it and nobody tell you that you will successes with it. CalGuy has a great option with his site but in my opinion it doesn't mean that anyone can do this. But good luck with you site, give us a link when you start it :)
