Thanks for this post Calguy. I just hit $100 and everyone says $1000 comes quickly after that, so it boosts my confidence when someone shares their good fortune that's soon to be mine!
I think this has come up before, but not necessarily with your site. Where do you get your pictures? Since it's commentary do you have any issues with liability or do you worry about that? You write very well, wonderful conversational style.
Again, thanks so much for sharing, it keeps the rest of us working hard!

    Are you talking about this?

    Results 1 - 3 of about 1,060 from www.celebslam.com

"In order to show you the most relevant results, we have omitted some entries very similar to the 3 already displayed.
If you like, you can repeat the search with the omitted results included."

How can I remedy this....What does this mean?

Thanks, man, I'm glad you liked it. Don't forget: Tiny Lil Guppies go on to become Freaking Whales :)

CalGuy, since your website is so new, it may not be a big issue, but generally too many supplementals spell problems with Google rankings.

The best way to get rid of them is by getting links to interior pages and using different Titles/Meta Tags for each page.

No matter what, though, if you use a bunch of categories for your blog you get this. If your Google traffic is good, then it shouldn't be a big issue.

Yeah, I'm getting ~1000 Google hits a day. I have tons of internal links from various celeb sites linking to my individual stories. I also have different titles for every story.

Once again, thanks for this post! I just signed up for Technorati, favorited Celebslam and learned a ton about Technorati I never knew! I have a blog on Blogger, it just sits there because the stupid bar on the right always goes to the bottom whenever I add something it doesn't like. But I need to blog and this post has probably helped me with backlinks I never knew existed!

    Hello,

Its interesting to know that you made $1000 in just 3 months from a blog. Well how much did you made from adsense in that time frame also do you update your site daily? Also is your content unique? i.e you write your own articles?

Wow, nice work mate. How did you start off with your site? Was your initial idea to make money through adsense?

Actually my intitial goal was to make money through Blogads. The top celebrity sites are earning 1k+/week there. Adsense has been a nice bonus (since I've barely made $100 on blogads lol).

The entire $1000 (actually $1500 for the 3 mo period) is adsense. All commentary is my own (I quote articles).
