About to crack $1,000 in my third month

Congrats! How often do you update your site, and how long do you spend each day? I see bunch of new content published even today.

 

Congratulations on an incredible achievement. What's the next goal now 10,000 . Keep up the good work

 

I update my site 6+ times a day. I get my articles from news sites but all commentary is my own. Make no mistake about it, I bust my ass on this thing.

 

I'd love $10,000 lol. I'm actually trying to branch out to other forms of advertising (CPM, etc). I just signed a contract with an awesome ad agency that has a relationship with some of the bigger media players.

Maybe this thread is good luck. I just had another blogad purchased today for $84.

 

do you mean $1k for all 3 months, or $1k for THIS month, after only 3 months? Either way, that's very good (you might have beat my record!) -

I have some questions.. if you dont mind:

• 
  According to Alexa, you get some boo-ku traffic.. is that all organic, or you buying AdWords or other advertising?

• 
  What do you mean 'blogads' ? is that a particular affiliate? Are these ads a one-time payment? if so, how long do you show the ad ?

 

1k for this month. Last month (Oct) was $350. Month before (Sept) $192. First month (Aug) was $95 (started the site ~Aug 8)

as for traffic, all organic, link exchange, etc. No adwords--yet

Check out my sidebar. The ad closest to the content (for HBO) is a blogad. It'll be up there for a week@$84, less 20% to blogads. The bigger sites can sell a single week blogad for 1k+.

IMO the good thing he is doing is concentrating on one site and updating it 6 times a day. Search engines love fresh content, this results in frequent indexing of the site which might result in ranking high. Visitors also want fresh content. He is mixing the text with pictures which is good. A celebrity site has to have fresh pictures.

Its not nothing! Even most of the publishers struggling to get atleast $100 per month...

 

You have a pretty bad supplemental results problem. Only 3 pages are listed before the message about "repeated results".

BTW, I've read your blog for a few months

Making $1,000 a month is easier than most people realize it. Maintaining it and growing the revenue are a different story though.

 

looks good man, but maby blend the ads a bit better use some different text colour on them....sits looking good, content is good...good work...

 

well done fella, looking at your site it obvious that you put in a lot of work and effort and keep everything fresh and new (I think a lot of people posting I'm only making a penny a month can learn a lot from this).

What source do you use for news and update ..? You can choose to ignore this question if you don't want to answer. I am just curious.
