"You must have been a member for 14 days, not have an overall red reputation and have 25 total posts to post in the Buy, Sell or Trade forum (which includes link exchanges).
It can take up to an hour for your new permissions to be active."

I want to post a job offer in the Buy-Sell-Trade room, but I have only 8 posts now, so obviously I can't post there.
What irritates me is: I'm here, looking to pay for services, and ready to pay for it. Well, it's not exactly that I pay for DP, but I do pay for the members of DP. And just to do that, I have to post 25 posts. I can certainly go to other forums or freelance sites and ask for service without wasting my time here posting 25 posts and try not to spam(I really hate spam).

    Just my 2 cents.

It really doesn't take that long to post 25 times

Most people wouldn't take someone seriously if he/she came here new and posted in the BST. The 25 posts helps people to decide if they should do business with the new person.

The forum is a community and as such is much different than the freelance sites. People belong to the community. The freelance sites sole purpose is to pair people needing jobs to people wanting workers.
