Come on people vote Eaves, I honestly couldn't say no or even yes about anyones directories, everyone got highly recommended (I suppose my survey is pretty useless), the few directories I didn't know about I checked out and they looked good.
Thanks to coolsitez, for the survey, that helped me realised that I have not satisfied enough people in the directory industry to get more positive votes. Will try to improve and satisfy more fellow directory owners soon.. On the other hand, I do believe that NRLmedia is right too about the comment on this list's sole reference to a directory and its owner's reputation.
As I have said already before creating the survey, the list will never be perfect. So, ultimately it will be always just another reference. But my attempt shouldn't be a waste. The results are from other directory owners, without 0 cheat as I controlled very well I can tell you that few reasons why some people might have experienced "unexpected"/disappointing result from the survey. #1 reason is NOT because you or your site is not recognized by many as you might think that would be the reason. The number one reason is that some directory owners gained good reputations from other means, not just their hard works on directories. It was a rather surprising to me too. To be honest, I thought people would more likely to vote on either "highly recommended" or "yes" for those owners who offer "good stuff". As a matter of fact, one of my favorite owners didn't get many good votes regardless of his numerous generous offers. I was shocked. I actually voted on "yes" for almost all of them, some "highly recommended", and only a few "N/A" as I have done business with over 110 of the owners. Even though I gave most of them "yes", I didn't get the same votes in return. This tells me that what you think of what they think about you can be very different. Ultimately I think what NRLmedia said is right. If you are an active owner, they tend to vote on "positive one" for you. I think they may feel secure if they know the person little better? This may be telling us that it's not just the past experiences people are looking at but more emphasize on the current, on-going experiences with the owner. Btw, I got little over 60 survey results, a lot more to go, so the rankings can be still changed a lot.
