Hey Googles policys says: "You may only enter one destination URL per ad for text, bild-/Flash-annonser and click-ads". Ofcource they mean for each specific keyword, right? (pretty sure that must be the case AND Regardin split-testing. This wont effect that? I mean if I rotate 2 ads in an ad-group with the same destination URL related to the same keyword, Google will only show one at a time. Right? Just wanted to doublecheck with someone else /David
Although you can set a different destination URL at the keyword level, the recommendation is the same URL for the group as a whole (that is, the ad determines the destination). If a keyword has a different URL than others in the group, it's probably in the wrong group. Yes, only one ad can show at any one time.
