I find this icon in a webmaster forum like DP, and now I'm plan to use it as my site's logo...I don't know who design or own it...how to deal with this kind of copyright issue? the icon:
Simple, it is not yours. You do not own the image, do not use it. If you figure out its origin, you can ask them to use it. Short of that, I can't think of worse idea for a site logo than knowingly using someone else's logo. Oh yeah, and this thread is now evidence of your intentional misuse of someone else's logo.
the problem is I don't know who is the owner of this icon...and I want to ask the owner for permission to use it in my site...
