I don't think those "links" from Yahoo are realy links.
You can quate there the url but it is not a link. not even NOFOLLOW one.

different search engines treat 'nofollow' in different ways. In reality, even a 'nofollow' link is better than no link at all.

"nofollow" links are not counted by google and pass no PR. Yahoo answers are good only for the direct traffic they provide.

Yahoo answer links are no follow... Go to a yahoo answer (where a link source exists) and view the page source...
search the code for source and look for the line that matches the link it will look like this... <a href="http://the url" rel="nofollow">"the anchor text"</a> Yahoo answers do not transfer page rank.

Yahoo answer links are definately nofollow, but dont discount the traffic that can be generated from such links.

And the links will be related to the niche you are targeting - therefore, I believe they are still valuable in that the user you are targeting is actually looking for the content that you have provided an answer for.

We use yahoo answers to direct laser targeted traffic to our websites - and it works wonderfully!

A nofollow link could also mean more traffic on your website.

Which means more of our favorite: $$$!!!

In this case, Yes it would be beneficial. However, spamming your links in your sources is probably not useful and definitely not useful for the long term. If your really trying to sell your services in your post and it's relative to the question then its 100% worth it but in most cases people just spam their links in yahoo answers.. I know I've done it and it doesn't work for traffic.

If you dont have one it might also be a good idea to..
Get a click tracker so you can see exactly where your traffic comming from.

Then youll at least know how many answers people are clicking..:p
