Getting married to a woman without signing a prenuptial agreement is not advisable at all. You should discuss what's fair and what's not right before marriage and get it signed legally. I've seen some major rip-offs in my life. I'm not blaming all women though. But I've seen some really bad gold diggers. "Beware" is all I can say.
Work at home might pay well but once someone has to find a real job they won't have any decent work places to list. Having to say you worked at home doesn't exactly give people a good reputation because people will wonder if they worked at home for certain reasons such as psychological issues. I also don't think it's fair for someone who decides to stay home to decently raise their kids to work at the same time. Try to picture yourself as a woman, you end up with a kid and decide to stay at home to raise the kid properly.. you end up doing that because you know the parenting roles are equally distributed, the husband works to support the family. While raising the kid your husband will have all the opportunities to expand his career while you're stuck at home raising a kid. Again, you'll accept that because you think the two of you will stay together forever and are okay with him having the financial responsibilities in return for raising the kid. When the marriage fails the woman would have to start all over again, building her career from nothing.. I don't know if I'm making any sense but I have a feeling male brains will never be able to see the world through a woman's point of view.
"Oh, what? You stayed home and raised kids? I'm not going to hire you, wtf are you thinking!" Yep, thats what all the potential employers and going to say Same goes both ways, guy or gal.
it sounds to me like I go out and break my back for 8 hours a day while you sit and watch price is right. then you want me to pay you when I trade you in for a younger, thinner model.
