Does textlinks and banner compete against each other? Lets say I have a textlink first in the code and a banner after it. Will this make the banner pay less and the textlink pay more? I figuered this rule only counts for banner since they are the only ones showing the commercial directly on the homepage, am I right?
yes, whichever ad shows first, that will be the higher paying ads and lower you go down the page, lower paying ads will display. thats why putting too much ad units can backstab you and you can make more with less ads. you dont want people clicking on your lower paying ads
