    Hello everyone.

I've been thinking on making website for quite some time now and I have some legal questions since, I believe from the impression I've got from here, that you can get in a lot of trouble if you do things wrong.

What I wonder is what the legal issue is of showing thumbnails similar to the way that google does is and if it is perfectly legal, what the max size of thumbnail is.
I also wonder what the legal issue is of linking to other websites through my website, by linking for example to an address like this one: http://examplesite.com/games/gameone/
Also similar to the way google does.

The users of the site will not have to pay for usage, the only earnings will be through advertising.

    Thank you in in advance!

If you are linking to a website, you should be ok, usually sites don't complain, as that is free advertisement for them, unless you try to pass their work off as your own. If say, you have a page with links to game sites, and you say "First Person Shooter blah blah blah, from examplesite.com, this link will take you to that site" you should be ok. But, it is always better to get permission before you start doing things.
