    Hi all,

By when do you guys think .pro domains will be a mature market. Lot of quality names are available. but quite costly. What are your plans on this extension. Share your thoughts.

Well, I just did my first ever .PRO whois search today. Not interested in it at all, to be honest.
I don't see it too useful, well one purpose I coud possibly use it is for marketing say "pro" version of a software product or service..

I don't think it will take off sooner or later. It is less valuable extension like .name etc. Only super generic names might be sold for good price but not regular domains with double keywords etc.

Aprt their price is their terms that originally agreed with ICANN to be strictly professional TLD. I know their will 'loose' these terms when they will renew their agreement with their ICANN soon. I like this TLD more than others but the registry must support it properly to take it off. I admire the marketing of .info
