    Well, everyone have their own opinion, what i think that PR depends on site's page strength which is according to the google algorithm. Sometimes we see that the inner page got more PR then main index page.

    We PR is not everything but it helps.. Improving optimizing your web site can help with the seo, I know from experience.

    Pr and traffic has olmost nothing in common

    And olso it depends on the niche

    I'm sure an entertainment site with PR1 will have more traffic then a site with PR5 about Shoes
