About PR

I have installed google toolbox for my firefox, but I anable to see the page rank in my screen. I am using ubantu. Is there something different with that?

 

i have ubuntu install and i still have pr info in my firefox also.
its show facebook page with Pr9.
1 from google toolbar, and one another from seo quake plugins.

 

It's the little bar, if your page isn't ranked yet it will be light gray.

 

that beacause on deep pages there is no PR to some forums!

 

If you use firefox and not IE then there are plenty of free plugins that you can use which can give you an on screen page rank display.

 

Number of plugins are there to check PR. G tool is best way. have you checked settings?

 

I am using the SEO Quake service to see the google pagerank, which shows me at the right hand bottom corner for each websites.

 

I guess its pretty fine. I also have a Google Toolbar but I also installs "Search Status Tool" in order to check PR.

 

You have to activate it personally on your firefox toolbar by going to setting tab. There you will find the option for Page Rank check that box

Google is always updating and changing. Search status tool is good and very helpful. Pagerank is just that it is per page not per site. Every page can and will have a different rank.

 

In Google Toolbar, you have to manually enable PR Bar to show and accept their Policy.

 

Updating !! in what manner ?

Google updates all its services and its algo everytime..

 

You are right. Google is constantly changing.

 

If it is still not working try the search status addon for firefox.

 

I have no problem in it, try to reinstall it .

 

Maybe the page you are looking at has no pagerank.

if it is not working at all, you must try some other tool ( or reinstall the toolbar )

 

Re-installing add ons is the recommendable way if its not really working.
