About Payment on hold and PIN

    Hi,

Until April 2006 i had my payment put on hold. May the 1st, I released payment and I expect to receive a PIN. My questions are:

    1. Will I receive the PIN on the same month I released payment or the month after?

    2. It's been 3 weeks now since I released payment, and I haven't received the PIN yet. Should I request for a new PIN?

    3. In the Google Support about requesting a PIN, it says:
    To request a new PIN:
    1. Log in to your AdSense account at https://www.google.com/adsense
    2. Click the My Account tab
    3. Continue to the Payment History page
    4. Click the Please enter your PIN link
    5. Click Request a new PIN
The thing is: I can't find anywhere in the Payment History that says "Please ente you PIN". How come?

    Confused,

    Dinar.

When you log into your account you should see a note (with red background) that says your payment is being held until you satisfy certain requirements. If you don't see that note then you don't need a PIN. The PIN thing is relatively new. I think people who signed up last year don't need a PIN.

When you reach $50 (before some date on a month) you will have the PIN link with red background on your account next month.

Or you need to enter your Tax information first.

    Hi, thanks for the replies...

Are you sure about that? Where does it say it? I signed up earlier than one year ago indeed. (Probably even 2 years ago -- I can't remember).

I put my payment on hold for a year or so, and now it's way over $50. I just released payment on 1st May. Maybe I don't need a PIN, or maybe the PIN link will show up only next month... right?

email to google and you will know the answer.

i don't know all detail. so if you don't have PIN link on your account that mean you will not recieve PIN card.

Tony is right. If you signed up 2 years ago you don't need a PIN. The PIN is for newer publishers.
